Privacy policy
This page describes what browsetherapy.com collects, what it deliberately does not, and where your information goes when you leave for a practice's booking site.
Last updated: 17 July 2026
The short version. browsetherapy has no accounts and no logins. We do not run advertising or tracking cookies. If you take a screening test, your answers stay in your own browser and are never sent to us. If you contact us, we receive what you type in the form. If you book, you leave our site for the practice's own booking system, which has its own privacy policy.
Who this covers
This policy covers the website at browsetherapy.com. It does not cover the therapy practices listed in this directory, their booking systems, or the care they provide — those are operated separately and under their own privacy practices and healthcare obligations.
Screening tests
The self-tests under /tests/ run entirely in your browser.
- Your answers are never transmitted to us. There is no server that receives them. Scoring happens on your own device.
- So you can close the tab and pick up where you left off, your answers and progress are saved in your browser's session storage. Session storage is cleared by your browser when you close the tab, and it is not a cookie and is not readable by other sites.
- You can erase it yourself at any time with the "Clear progress" or "Start over" controls on the test, or by closing the tab.
- A screening result is not a diagnosis. See our terms.
Analytics and cookies
The site sets no cookies and currently runs no analytics product. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font network, and the site loads no third-party scripts, trackers, or embeds.
If we add analytics later, our internal rule already forbids transmitting screening answers, question values, scores, or result classifications — only that a test was started or completed, and which test it was. We would update this page before that changed.
Contacting us
If you use the form on /contact/ or apply through /for-therapists/, we receive what you choose to type — such as your name, email address, and message — so we can reply.
Those forms are delivered through a third-party form service, which processes the submission in order to pass it to our inbox, and the message is then held in ordinary business email.
Please do not include clinical or health details in a contact form. It is an ordinary business inbox, not a clinical or confidential channel, and it is not the way to reach a therapist. To reach a clinician, book with their practice or call it directly. In a crisis, call or text 988.
Booking with a practice
Every "Request an appointment" button leaves browsetherapy.com for the booking site of the practice that clinician works for — Positive Reset Eatontown or Serenium Wellness. We do not operate those systems, we do not receive what you enter into them, and their own privacy policies and healthcare obligations apply once you arrive.
When you follow one of those links, the practice's site is told only that you came from browsetherapy.com. Specifically:
- The link carries a plain source tag identifying this directory as the referrer.
- Our referrer policy sends only our domain name — not the page you were on. The practice is not told which therapist profile, condition page, city, or screening test you came from.
This is deliberate: which page you browsed can imply something about your health, so we do not pass it on.
Information about therapists
Clinician profiles show professional information — name, credentials, practice, work locations, session types, and areas of focus — published so people can find appropriate care. If you are listed and want your information corrected or removed, contact us and we will act on it.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data — including your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — to serve the site and protect it from abuse. That processing is Cloudflare's, under Cloudflare's terms.
Children
This site is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Some listed clinicians see children and teens; those arrangements are made with the practice, by a parent or guardian.
Your choices
- Screening answers: clear them yourself with the controls on the test, or close the tab.
- Contact messages: ask us to delete a message you sent, and we will.
- Listings: clinicians can request correction or removal.
To make any of these requests, email vlad.m@monefy.ro.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it.
