About Evan

I am a dedicated Licensed Social Worker. I may not have all the answers, but I would love to collaborate with you to work towards a better tomorrow. Every person is unique, and I understand that it can be difficult trusting others. I invite you to a safe place to share your story. I am kind, patient, empathetic, and hard-working. My motto is to learn from the past, plan for the future, and live for the present. If I could imagine my ideal client, it would be anyone who is willing to put in the work. By work, I mean starting where they are at and being open-minded. Ideally, my client would want to recognize what contributes to their thoughts and behaviors. Furthermore, they would be willing to create S.M.A.R.T. goals. These goals would be individualized to my ideal client no matter the issue. Everyone has strengths, even if they can’t see them immediately. I use strengths based therapy to highlight my clients’ resilience and positive attributes. I use my findings and experience to actively listen, provide support, validate feelings, and identify thinking patterns. By asking open-ended questions, clarifying questions, and summarizing questions, I hope to best understand everyone.
