I was a professional Broadway and stage actress, teacher, and mentor for 25 years before going back to school for my Masters in Social Work. I have found that my work in the arts cultivates a creative and empathetic approach to counseling. My current work has involved trauma-Informed approach, meditation, body-mind connection work, as well as EMDR. I consider myself a life-long learner and am constantly pushing myself to explore new modalities to fit my clients’ needs.
