Rachel LaBarre, LAC
About Rachel
I am a licensed associate counselor and board-certified music therapist. I have experience in a variety of populations across the lifespan. Some of my clinical experiences include working with individuals with developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, inpatient psychiatric, hospice, and private practice. I use a combination of counseling and/or music therapy for depression and other concerns to meet the needs of every individual I work with. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults, especially those who are experiencing life transitions. Some of the most meaningful work I have done in my career involved working with individuals in hospice, and I am comfortable sitting with someone as they process inevitable changes in life. I aim to provide a safe, comforting space for my clients to gain insights about themselves and clarity on achieving their fullest potential. I use a person-centered approach and believe that meeting the client where they are is one of the best ways to develop a trusting therapeutic relationship. It is not easy to take the step to start therapy and I am glad you have made it this far! I am excited to have the opportunity to join you on your journey and wish you healing and peace.
