Amanda McDonald, LSW
About Amanda
As a Licensed Social Worker, I bring a wealth of education and hands-on experience to my role. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, with a specialization in clinical work with children and families, as well as a Master’s degree in Social Work from Monmouth University. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, in one-on-one therapeutic settings. My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and a commitment to fostering positive change in the lives of those I serve. For clients experiencing stress or emotional overwhelm, I often incorporate person centered therapy for anxiety, creating a warm and accepting space where individuals feel truly heard, valued, and supported as they work toward healing. I am passionate about advocating for the well-being of individuals and families, and I continuously strive to stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of social work. My goal is to provide compassionate support and guidance to help clients navigate life’s challenges and achieve their goals.
